Draft outline. The full text will be supplied by The Ben Orgenda Foundation before applications open.
01The programme
BSEP26 is completely free. BOF does not collect any payment from applicants or participants.
Apply only through this official page. BOF never asks applicants for payment.
BOF is a growing non-profit, and BSEP26 runs within available resources. Places are limited, and dates or format may change.
All decisions follow the published criteria and are final.
02Applying
You must be 18 or above and own or co-own a business that is already operating. One application per person and per business. The information you give must be true and complete.
The application form closes automatically at the published deadline. Late applications cannot be accepted.
03Rules
One application per person and per business. Duplicates are flagged for removal.
Late task submissions earn zero for that task. Deadlines are enforced by the system and there are no exceptions.
Missing 2 sessions or 2 tasks makes a participant ineligible for the pitch and the certificate.
Points lock after the Session 3 task deadline. The top 10 by points advance to the pitch. Ties go to the higher task-completion score, then the higher excellence score, then the earlier last submission.
Rankings and points are final and are not re-scored.
Declare any conflict of interest, such as being related to BOF staff, a reviewer, a mentor or a sponsor.
There is no appeals process. A clerical-error form opens for 48 hours after a decision email, for factual or system errors only.
BOF never asks for payment, BVN, card or bank details, passwords, PINs or one-time codes. Report anyone who does.
04Selection and decisions
Applications are scored against the published criteria and weights, which do not change after applications open. Selected applicants must accept within 48 hours; places not accepted pass to the waitlist in rank order.
05The Expo
Participants attend the Business & Entrepreneurship Expo in Jos at their own cost. Pitch results are final.
